Once again I must beg your indulgence, dear long-suffering Devoted readers. The time has (almost) come for me to nip off on holiday, and I won't have access to a computer for almost 2 weeks. I wanted to get another chapter up before I left, but I haven't even packed yet and I don't think the plane will wait for me.
